2010 SunFest
When do you stop selling advance discount tickets and where can I buy them?
There are many ways to purchase advance discount tickets:
- Online using a credit card. Early bird discounts will end April 25 at midnight.
- By visiting the SunFest Store in downtown West Palm Beach at 525 Clematis Street Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. You may pay with cash, credit card or check.
- Charge by phone at 1-800-SUNFEST (786-3378).
- By visiting participating Publix Super Market locations in Palm Beach and Martin counties starting April 11 until store closings on Sunday, April 25.
Is the 1-Day Ticket good for any day?
The 1-Day advance ticket is good for one-time entrance Wednesday through Sunday of the festival. While the SunFest Main Stage offers reserved seating opportunities, there are also open viewing areas at no additional charge. Due to capacity limitations, viewing of each concert may be limited.
What happens if it rains at SunFest?
SunFest goes on rain or shine. If the weather forecast calls for rain, please bring rain gear and umbrellas (please note patrons may be asked to lower umbrellas in concert areas to allow all guests access to stage viewing). SunFest does not refund or exchange tickets due to inclement weather. Some performances, including the Verizon Wireless Fireworks Show, might be delayed, postponed or canceled due to inclement weather.
The following items cannot be brought into SunFest: coolers, bottles, food, pets, boom boxes, audio recording devices, Frisbees, scooters, roller skates, skateboards, bicycles, in-line skates, professional still or video cameras, knives, firearms or explosives. Baby food or food for persons with medical conditions may be brought in approved containers only. Service animals for patrons with disabilities are permitted. Bags, backpacks and other hand-carried items are subject to inspection. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Umbrellas, including beach umbrellas, may be brought in, but you may be asked to put them down in concert areas to allow all guests access to stage viewing. Bicycles can be valeted at the Bike Valet courtesy of Downtown Development Authority.
Can I bring my camera or video camera?
The following items cannot be brought into SunFest: coolers, bottles, food, pets, boom boxes, audio recording devices, Frisbees, scooters, roller skates, skatebYes, you may bring your personal camera or video camera to SunFest. However, flash photography and video or audio recording in the concert areas are strictly prohibited by the artists. If you do not comply with the artist policies, your equipment may be subject to confiscation in the stage areas. Only individuals with a valid SunFest-issued media credential will be allowed to bring professional photography or video equipment into the festival. When is the entertainment schedule available?
The first entertainers are usually announced in early March. The complete SunFest schedule is available here.
When is the art and craft show?
The Juried Fine Art & Craft Show is open Friday, April 30 through Sunday, May 2 of SunFest 2010. On Sunday the show closes at 9 p.m.

The Verizon Wireless Fireworks Show is Sunday, May 2 at the close of the show, weather permitting.
Are there activities for children?
Children and families are always welcome at SunFest. In fact, children 5 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. The Family Activities Tent offers many activities for children including many interactive games and activities. The Family Activities Tent is located at Trinity Park and will be open Friday through Sunday. The SunFest Fireworks Show will be held on Sunday night at the close of the festival.
Is there a lost and found? What about lost persons?
Yes, Lost and Found is located at all the Information Centers. The Lost Persons Booth is located on Flagler Drive between North and South Clematis streets, as well as in the south end of the Juried Fine Art & Craft Show. Guest’s who lose an article, or a person, should visit any SunFest Information Booth immediately or contact the nearest police officer.

Where can I get SunFest beads?
SunFest beads are for sale throughout the festival on bead carts located at the intersections of each major road and Flagler Drive.
If I have a comment, suggestion or complaint who can I talk to?

SunFest is produced by SunFest of Palm Beach County, Inc., a private nonprofit organization. SunFest of Palm Beach County, Inc., celebrating its 28th year, consists of a 21-member board of directors; 25 committees; more than 3,000 volunteers; a full time, year-round staff of 7; and approximately 100 corporate sponsors. SunFest 2010 is funded in part by the Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council through the Palm Beach County Cultural Council. SunFest is also sponsored in part by the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Arts Council.
Does SunFest provide Shuttle Service or parking?
SunFest no longer provides the shuttle from the Palm Beach Mall. SunFest does not provide parking nor does it control the cost of parking. There are many lighted and safe parking garages and lots located within walking distance to SunFest that are operated by the City of West Palm Beach or other businesses. SunFest is not responsible for ticketing, towing or the loss or damage to vehicles, accessories or contents resulting from theft, fire, collision or any other cause whatsoever.
Does SunFest provide access for persons with disabilities?
Yes, SunFest is accessible for persons with disabilities. Wheelchairs are available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis at the intersection of Evernia Street and Flagler Drive inside the festival gates. The Main Stage features special seating for persons in wheelchairs. Designated parking for festival patrons with disabilities is available at these marked locations: Along Datura Street from Narcissus Avenue to Olive Avenue on Wednesday & Thursday* Along Datura Street from Narcissus Avenue to Dixie Highway on Friday through Sunday* and at various meter spaces and garages located throughout the city. *A valid disability-parking permit is required to park in these locations. Please note that parking locations are subject to change without notice.
Can I rent a baby stroller or wheelchair at SunFest?
A limited number of wheelchairs are available for rent at the intersection of Evernia Street and Flagler Drive inside the festival gates. Each stage features special seating for persons in wheelchairs as well as one assistant. We do not offer baby stroller rental.
Where is the will call and what time does it open?
Will Call opens one hour prior to published gate openings. Will call will be located at the Clematis street gate. Photo ID is required.
Does SunFest accept credit cards on site or cash only?
SunFest accepts Credit/Debit Card Payments (MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover) at all Gate, Barge and Beer/Rum locations.
ATM machines are available throughout the site. A $3.50 per transaction fee applies.
