SunFest Seeks New Music Submissions (2008-01-15)

NEW MUSIC NIGHT AT SUNFEST 2008
15 BANDS IN ONE NIGHT, PUBLIC HAS SAY AND VOTE

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., January 15, 2008  This election year isn't just about political candidates, SunFest
announces New Music Night at SunFest and inviting the public to help.  As a part of it's "Make it your Own" theme,
festival organizers are taking suggestions and votes from the public to book some of the best up-and-coming talent
for New Music Night at SunFest featuring 15 bands in one night.

"SunFest artists have always been a combination of legends and new acts breaking on the scene," said Paul
Jamieson, Executive Director of SunFest. "As independent and emerging artists are being given new stages through
the Internet and other mediums, we want to present a night to feature the best new music that's out there. We know
people are using personal networks to get the word out on new music. We want to tap into that. New Music Night at
SunFest gives people a chance to tell us about that great new act they think is going to make it big."

SunFest organizers are asking the public to send suggestions. They will collect the names and create an online
voting ballot. Then, they will make the offers. Hopefully top vote getters will accept the invite. SunFest is currently
accepting submission on its web site www.sunfest.com/tellusaboutthem.  Voting for the top picks will be held online
at sunfest.com February 4-15.
