WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., March 20, 2008  SunFest has added Matisyahu, Ozomatli and The Tossers to the 2008 line up.  The event, Floridas largest music, art and waterfront festival, will be held April 30-May 4, along one of the most scenic sections of Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach.

Jewish reggae-rapper Matisyahu will perform on the Tire Kingdom Stage, Sunday evening May 4.  Since the release of his 2004 debut, Shake off the dust...ARISE and the phenomenal success of his sophomore studio album, YOUTH, Matisyahu has continued to bring his uncanny, electrifying fusion of orthodox Judaism and classic reggae music to listeners with an unbelievable energy combining the sounds of Bob Marley and Shlomo Carlebach, yet remaining wholly original.

Ozomatli will perform on the Tire Kingdom Stage, Friday evening May 2.  Ozomatli blends the hip-hop, Latin, and rock sounds of their hometown of Los Angeles to create music that lifts the spirit and intrigues the mind.  They are a multi-piece band including guitar, bass, percussion, and horns.  Ozomatli's fourth studio album Don't Mess with the Dragon features musical collaborations from all band members resulting in the genre-crossing stylistic experiments that fans have come to expect.

The Tossers will perform on the AT&T Real Yellow Pages Stage Saturday, May 2.  From the predominantly Irish neighborhoods of South-Side Chicago, the Tossers have been expanding the boundaries of contemporary Irish music since the early '90s.  The heart of their distinct sound is derived through the melding of traditional Irish and Punk Rock roots.  Combining traditional instrumentation of mandolin, fiddle, tin whistle and banjo with amphetamine fueled guitar, bass and drums, the Tossers play with a furious edge that teeters between rage and raucousness.

Powerspace and The Secret Handshake will round out the New Music Night (May 1) featuring 15 bands in one evening.

Today, reserved seats go on sale to the public for WaMu stage performances including

Sheryl Crow, Fergie, The Black Crowes, John Legend, Stephen Marley, and  Little River Band. To buy reserved seats visit sunfest.com or call 1-800-SunFest.
