National City to Offer Preview and Special Discount Beginning March 12
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., March 10, 2008-- Ilkin Deniz created SunFest's 2008 festival commemorative print.
Ilkin Deniz started his journey as an artist before he went to elementary school in Turkey. Ilkin studied in the graphic department of a fine Turkish Art school and held exhibitions of his paintings from his early years. Ilkin stayed in Istanbul until he was 30 and now resides in Palm Beach, Florida.
Ilkin is famous for his boat paintings, which convey to America the elusive charm of the Mediterranean and the endless horizon of the blue sky meeting the blue sea.
The standard poster price is $20. A signed, numbered limited-edition print
costs $30.
National City will be the only place to view the print between March 12 and March 31. The public is invited to stop by one of the 44 neighborhood National City branch offices in Palm Beach County for this special sneak peek and to receive the special code for a ten percent discount .
Ilkin Deniz and more than 160 other artists will display their work including paintings, photography, jewelry, sculptures, pottery and ceramics at the National City Juried Fine Art & Craft Show Friday, May 2- Sunday, May 4. The SunFest art show is one example of how National City intends to show continued support for the local community.
Tours of the art show will be offered Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Guided tours of the show offer insight into the selection process, discussion of the different mediums and artist demonstrations. To sign-up for tours, visit the artist oasis 15 minutes before the tour.
