We want our patrons to feel safe when visiting SunFest. To this end, we work to create a safe environment at the festival. This includes staffing the site with public and private security and medical staff. If you need any assistance, seek out a police officer, EMS professional, or security personnel. Please visit our Safety Page to view for useful information including our anti-harassment policy. If you have a specific question regarding safety, security or medical information, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For the first time in many years, fireworks will not be a part of the festival in 2020. The change was made due to declining interest and in the spirit of the festival’s continual evolution. Past attractions including carnival rides, boat races, an arts and crafts marketplace, commemorative posters, and juried art show were once very popular but eventually ran their course.
Children and families are always welcome at SunFest. In fact, children 5 and under are admitted free and there is a youth ticket discount. The Art Disctrict has activities children can enjoy alongside the adults including the ever- popoular SunFest chalkboard, mobile murals, and street performers.
Certain VIP areas require additional tickets based on age.
The lineup is typically announced mid-February.
If you have comments, suggestions or complaints during the festival, you may stop by any Information Center booth and fill out a comment card. During the year, please let us know your thoughts at any time by emailing us at email@example.com or call during business hours 561-659-5980.
