Three Stage Friday

SunFesters, today marks an important day.

Besides being the end of the work week, Friday has some pretty strong connotations in SunFest-land.

It means the addition of our third stage, giving you simultaneous musical bliss for the rest of the weekend.

Breaking in the new stage today will be NOSLEEPKB, Taylor Bennett and headliner Fetty Wap featuring Monty.

Here’s your look at today’s jetBlue stage performers:

NOSLEEPKB

Born in Miami and raised in Lauderdale Lakes, NOSLEEPKB is a songwriter who won’t forget where he comes from.

In fact, when he previewed his SunFest performance garb on Twitter, it featured a denim vest with a 954 patch.

The rapper hasn’t gone the last five months without dropping a new song on his SoundCloud. Standouts include “Table” and “You Me Her.”

NOSLEEPKB performs at 6:45 p.m.

Taylor Bennett

If you think Taylor Bennett resembles Chance the Rapper, it’s because he does.

Bennett is the artist’s 21-year-old younger brother and it turns out, talent runs in the family.

The Chicago-based rapper released his debut full length, Broad Shoulders, in 2015 and no surprise, it was a hit. Don’t believe me? How many teenagers get to open up for Nas at a Lollapalooza after party? One. And it was Bennett.

Consider checking this guy out before he inevitably blows up like his big bro. His latest, “Holiday” — a track by James the Mormon which features Bennett — came out only a few days ago. What perfect timing. You can read more about Bennett here.

Taylor Bennett performs at 8 p.m.

Fetty Wap featuring Monty

It’s time to dance. Rapper, Fetty Wap, calls his sound “ignorant R&B” and we’re about to experience it in person.

Between singles like “Trap Queen,” “My Way,” and “679,” it’ll basically be impossible to not get excited when the 25-year-old takes the stage.

I honestly think my favorite part about this performance is that it’s been a longtime request from SunFesters.

Well fam, we made it.
