A New Space To Chill

SunFest isn’t just revamping the Art District this year, the Trinity Park area (formerly the Kid Zone) will also hold new surprises in 2017.

Instead of catering strictly to kids– the new Chill Zone will be a relaxing sanctuary for all ages. There will still be colorful activities for kids and kids at heart, including face painting, sand pit, arts and crafts, printmaking, and tie dye. However, say goodbye to the bounce houses. With that extra space, SunFest will welcome in more seating and new vendors.

Make sure you check out Eagle Nest Outfitter’s’ Lotus Lounge— a massive, flower-like sculpture that holds colorful and comfortable hammocks. This cool creation was designed with festivals in mind. Grab a hammock and swing gently to the sounds from the JetBlue stage and the sea.

The Chill Zone will also serve wine, courtesy of Dark Horse Wine. Sample new wines (and rose!) while your kids get creative.

This newly designed area will also feature fun lawn games and extra seating. If you’re looking for the perfect spot to rest your feet and relax while you eat, this is the perfect place.

Be sure to check it out. Snap a picture of yourself in the Chill Zone and share it with us on social, using #SunFestFL.
