Saturday Night: The Party Continues

Could today be any more beautiful?

I have not seen a cloud in the sky all day. There has just been a warm sun, a light breeze off the water, and a sea of happy concert goers browsing art, bands and beer.

What’s on the agenda for the rest of the evening?

The All American Rejects just started hammering out hits on the Bank of America stage (not far from this press tent). The Stillwater, Oklahoma boys opened up with their smash single “Dirty Little Secret” and will also be playing tracks from their newest album “Kids In The Street.” The pop-punk band has been cranking out music for 10 years and should not be missed.

We caught a glance of lead singer Tyson Ritter backstage earlier today. Watch out, young hearts.

Also currently on deck is We Are One, a seven-piece alternative jazz rock band from Miami, who are performing on the Tire Kingdom stage.

I heard fellow blogger Jonathan is excited about the four teenagers from West Palm Beach (Hey, we are near there!) stirring up the hip-hop music scene. If you want to be ahead of the curve, check out these young adults at the FPL stage.

Third Eye Blind, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and Girl Talk will headline the three stages tonight, and you can expect a few words on those shows tomorrow.

Time for me to go out and catch these sets so I can bring you more details!

Happy Cinco de Mayo, everyone! Be safe out there.
